If you are about on Saturday 28th August, come and have a mooch at the first ever 'Handmade Birmingham' Independent Designer-Makers Market.

The Market will be situated at the entrance to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre along Edgbaston Street; from St Martin's down to Debenhams. Forming part of the City’s growing ‘Independent Birmingham’ Marketplace, it aims to be the largest and finest weekly gathering of the regions most interesting and individual independent designer-makers and contemporary vintage sellers; a place to shop and ramble, people watch and to enjoy the vibrant experience of authentic Birmingham.

Weeks of preparation and finally 4th December, and the start of Clothes Show Live, was upon us. Here are a few pictures....

Our dazzling Riley Burnett display drew people on to the SlinkyPIG stand at Clothes Show Live with the usual 'ooohs' and 'aaahs' we've become accustomed to since we've been stocking this fabulous, vibrant jewellery.

Above & below: Our stand, in the Black Label Designer Zone, characterised by black carpets and stand fascia boards, seemed to shine like a beacon with its white necklace stands and exotic, colourful Riley Burnett silver and semi precious stones.

Above: Our bestselling Riley Burnett Slinky Bracelets, here shown in Multi and Neon but also available in Turquoise, Onyx, Smoky Quartz and Red Coral, were popular as always. As each one is individually handmade, these were snapped up for beautifully special Christmas presents.

A big thank you...£200 raised for East Anglia's Children's Hospices

Despite the stormy wind and rain, the SlinkyPIG Charity Christmas Jewellery Sale at The Centurian Club in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, was so well attended we were too busy to snap any of you actually browsing our jewellery!

Thank you so much to everyone who braved the weather to support the Charity and to have a mooch around our lovely jewellery. With the charity raffle and proceeds from the sale, £200 was raised for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) and well done to Aidie for winning the £50 SlinkyPIG Jewellery Voucher and all the other raffle prize winners!

We were bowled over by the hospitality, the help (thanks Jodi, Matt, Yasmin, Tom) and the support we received. I think we should do this again......
